The best high-end smartphones and phablets (March 2017)

smartphones

The world of high-end phones is increasingly varied, and if we join with the smartphones in which Apple has already entered with its iPhone 6 Plus, it is even more so. The market for smartphones does not stop stopping and companies like Samsung have bet very hard for it.

The following high end smartphones are usually good value for money a couple of months after they have been put up for sale, once the stores start to make offers.

What makes up the high range?

We have tried to be objective in including the following terminals. While some will put the cry in the sky to include a phone with 4-inch screen in this listing (iPhone 5s), the truth is that the high range should also bring some things that are not usually taken into account. As for example the quality of the manufacture, the durability of its screens, the combination of operating system and hardware, etc.

In that last section, operating system and hardware, which stand out equally are Windows Phone and iOS, well above Android. Just having to develop applications and games for a limited set of hardware makes them more optimized and extracts much more performance than the same hardware but with Android, which is very difficult to develop applications with Java, despite the fact that Have made huge strides since Google introduced ART in Android 4.4, a Java compiler that improves performance and consumption.

Android is an ideal operating system for those who like to mess with your phone, as neither iOS nor Windows Phone can modify the operating system of the terminal easily. Android also has a clear advantage and it is that the high competition that exists in the different manufacturers has caused prices to fall at a speed of vertigo, so it also has some high-end phones really appetizing and affordable.

Apple iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus

Apple maintains the resolution and screen size of the iPhone 7, which is 4.7 inches and 750 x 1334 pixels. But it has significantly improved the quality of the same with support to the range of colors DCI-P3. It now has a brightness of up to 625 nits, with a 1400: 1 contrast, so it will look perfect in direct sunlight. It maintains the 3D Touch, so in that section there are no changes. The home button now includes pressure sensors to add new functionality, usable in third-party applications.

The processor is an A10 Fusion, with co-processor M10, which improves remarkably with respect to the A9. It is now a four-core, including 3.3 billion transistors, and is 40% faster than the A9. The two secondary cores consume a fifth of the main ones, for tasks with low power requirement. Nothing new in the world of ARM processors. The GPU is 50% faster than the Apple A9, with efficiency in mind as it consumes 33% less than the PowerVR used in the previous model.

They include pressure sensor technology to the start button to add new capabilities, and will be programmable by third-party applications. The camera also improves maintaining the 12 megapixels, with a six lens sensor, f / 1.8 aperture, incorporating optical stabilisation in both models.

The True Tone flash, which now includes four LEDs, now features a light-flashing sensor to counteract unwanted effects in photos, with an advanced ISP to greatly improve the quality of your photos. The front camera is 7 megapixels, with software stabilizer. The iPhone 7 Plus adds a second 12-megapixel wide-angle camera to perform a two-zoom optical zoom, which adds digital zoom up to 10x, plus depth effects.

They eliminate the 3.5mm audio jack, and the Lightning is the new digital audio connector that will use new specific headphones, although the iPhone will include an adapter in its box. Lightning is a connector already in use for the audio, they have eliminated it to make space in the interior and to reduce the thickness, and mainly because the digital audio is the future and it gives enormous advantages when enjoying the music.

Huawei P10

Huawei P10

The P10 is a phone that takes over from what Huawei did with the P9, with some minor changes. The design is very similar to the iPhone 7, so in this aspect does not stand out. It is attractive and pleasant to use, but very iPhone, for the good and for the bad, and also because the Huawei interface tries to imitate iOS.

The processor is a powerful Kirin 960 that is quite fluid, with a Mali-G71MP8 GPU at 900 MHz, which includes the new ARM architecture of integrated Bifrost graphics. Besides being compatible with Vulkan, it improves up to 50% of basic graphic performance. The processor is manufactured on a 16 nm FiFET ++ node from TSMC.

The P10 displays are IPS type, a 5.15-inch FHD, with 3200 mAh battery, USB connector type C and fast charge. Huawei has added a 4×4 array of antennas for LTE that allows downloading at gigabit speeds.

The main camera is 12 megapixels with a secondary 20 MP monochrome, both aperture f / 2.2-f / 1.8 in the P10 Plus-, can record to 4K and create depth effects, and is a design that has also been developed Next to Leica. The front camera is 8 MP. In general they are good cameras, and it is among the best on the market.

HTC 10

HTC has been redeemed in the high end where their last two phones were far from having the success they expected. With the HTC 10 have returned to the origins and what must be a good phone 2016, providing a good design in aluminum with the edges of the screen glass rounded as well as the sides, making it a very comfortable phone to hold And use.

The 5.2-inch QHD screen provides vivid colors and a brightness value of up to 450 nits, so it can be used outdoors without too much trouble. The fingerprint reader is located on the front start button, which is the ideal location for them. The Snapdragon 820 processor is the most powerful of 2016, and carrying it included is guaranteed to at least have the maximum flow of use, with Android 6.0 pre-installed.

HTC has modified the layout of the speakers to include a front for high frequencies and a lower one to act as a subwoofer, although in the section of the DAC used 24-bit audio promise great sound quality through the headphones, and include Some with improved design to take better advantage of the capabilities of the phone in this field. The battery has a good duration, although not as good as other phones with higher capacity or more optimized, but will last until it returns home in the afternoon.

The rear camera is the same Sony IMX377 12-megapixel sensor used on other handsets that perform great like the Nexus 6P or Nexus 5X, capable of recording in slow motion and video at 4K. It has f / 1.8 aperture, 1.55 μm pixel size, and a laser sensor for autofocus that will give you a good response in low light conditions. It also includes optical image stabilization, as well as the front camera, which uses a Samsung S5K4E6 5-megapixel sensor with f / 1.8 aperture.

Samsung Galaxy S7

The Galaxy S7 is a renewal of the Galaxy S6 with just changes to improve it remarkably. The OLED type display has a lower consumption despite being QHD, with an always active feature configurable to display certain information chosen by the user. Otherwise, it is practically the best screen in a market phone, with a brightness of 500 nits.

The processor is an Exynos 8890, with great processing performance and the Mali T880 graphics. The autonomy is also notably better, standing above other phones with which it competes, but still giving the usual duration of these day phones with heavy use or a couple of days with moderate use.

The phone’s UFS 2.0 storage is ultra-fast, with speeds close to 220 MB / s of sequential read and 60 MB / sec of sequential write. Samsung has also upgraded the layer of Android customization, which takes advantage of the front fingerprint reader (the right location). The phone also has resistance to water and dust, and has wireless charging next to Wi-Fi 2×2 802.11 ac MU-MIMO.

LG V20

Google Pixel

Chainfire

The Pixel phone starts a new stage in Google in the design and production of its own Android phones. In this case they have opted for a conservative design model, similar to the iPhone 6, made in aluminum with an area in the upper glass back, where the fingerprint reader is also located.

The center of attention of this model is its camera, considered the best in the market, which includes a 12 megapixel sensor with f / 2.0 aperture, with a pixel size of 1.55? M, autofocus by phase detection and laser (LDAF and PDAF ), And dual led flash. The photos you capture are sensational, either in low or high light, and record video at 4K.

The Snapdragon 821 processor gives you a lot of fluency and power in conjunction with Android 7.0. It includes 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of UFS 2.0 storage to support excellent performance, although a micro-SD card reader is missing. The Full HD 5-inch display has a maximum brightness of 400 nits – something low to look great in full sunlight – and is OLED, so it looks with vivid colors and deep blacks.

The battery life is quite decent, around 7 hours of use of the screen, so your 3450 mAh battery and some optimizations serve you well in this regard. Uses fast charging with an 18 W charger to fully recharge in two hours through its USB type C port.

Lenovo Moto Z

The Moto Z includes a 5.5-inch screen with QHD resolution, which will be in charge of moving a Snapdragon 820 and its integrated GPU Adreno 530. It comes with 4 GB of LPDDR4 memory, 32 GB of ultrafast internal storage of type UFS 2.0 Step closer to the speed of SSD) and microSD card reader up to 2TB. Its 5.2 mm of thickness allows to include inside a battery of 2,600 mAh.

It includes Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1 and LTE Cat. 9. The fingerprint reader is integrated in the front, which is the ideal site for these readers. The rear 13-megapixel camera has an f / 1.8 aperture, and is capable of recording at 4K and 30 FPS, and includes optical image stabilizer. The front of 5 megapixels is f / 2.2 aperture and is wide-angle, and includes flash.

The controversy focuses on the single USB-C connector, and therefore those who want to connect a headset with 3.5 mm connector will have to resort to an adapter that will be placed next to the phone. This type of connectors provide certain advantages, some of them in future headsets that include more complex electronics, and in fact is what allows the thickness of the phone is only 5.19 mm.

The back includes a connector for Mods or external add-ons that add functionality, such as adding extra battery and wireless charging, or photo enhancements.

Huawei Mate 9

Xiaomi Mi Mix

The first thing that catches the attention of the Mi Mix is its frontal. Xiaomi has managed to create a terminal with virtually no borders, only a small space in its lower part, reaching the screen 91.3% of the front, being 6.4 inches curved by the edges, 500 nits of brightness, contrast 1300: 1 and covering 94% of the NTSC color range.

It is a computer that works fluidly with a processor Snapdragon 821 with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage UFS 2.0, without reader of SD. It includes a good 16 Mpx rear camera with PDAF, 4400 mAh battery that gives almost 10 hours of use of screen, GPS, NFC, 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 4.2, with USB connector type C and fingerprint reader.

Sony Xperia XZ

Sony Xperia XZ

The Xperia XZ is a good high-end phone, with which Sony has put a fresh start for its range of phones, with an improved design in which the frame is plastic and the aluminum back cover. The front glass curves sideways, and is generally comfortable to use, although it is a rather large phone, 146 mm high, but within the realities of the 2016 market.

Uses a USB 2.0 type C charging connector. The phone is waterproof, and the included fingerprint reader is located on the power button on the right side. The 5.2-inch screen maintains a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, but is IPS-type, so it gives the same sharpness as QED-type OLEDs. It has a great reproduction of colors, with 600 nits of brightness and 1350: 1 contrast, and allows it to look perfectly in direct sunlight.

The processor is a Snapdragon 820, which behaves magnificently in day to day, and in graphics, because it is combined with a 1080p panel instead of 1440p, behaves better than competing phones, doubling the FPS with On phones like the S7 or the G5. The battery life is about 9 hours of use, so there will be no problem to finish the day with some battery if it is given heavy use.

The camera of this phone is 23 megapixel with a Sony IMX300 sensor, with a system of six lenses, aperture f / 2.0 and is wide-angle. It takes very good photos both in daylight and indoors and at night, and can record video at 4K and 30 FPS, in addition to slow motion, and with various filters.

Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe

LG G5

LG G5

LG has bet on this occasion to innovate in your phone by allowing the bottom of the phone to be removed. This allows you to exchange it with other modules that you have put up for sale, along with other accessories like a virtual reality glasses or a 360º camera.

The phone itself includes the best hardware you can find right now, with a powerful 820-processor Snapdragon and 4GB of RAM, along with 32GB of storage. The camera is again among the best on the market, and perhaps the biggest drawback is its huge size for a screen of 5.3 inches with QHD resolution.

Google Nexus 6P

Android 7

The Nexus 6P is a high-end handset by its own right, due to the combination of a great design in aluminium, a great screen and great camera. The screen has a great reproduction of colours, although its value of brightness is perhaps a little low for what would be desirable for its use outdoors, since it is placed around the 350 nits.

The Snapdragon 810 processor makes everything run smoothly, and storage options start at 32 GB with 3 GB of RAM. More than enough for good use, and the continuous Android updates provided directly by Google (now has Android 7.0), be a phone that will last for years. The gray point is the lack of a micro-SD card and a range that could be better, although it should serve to reach the average user at the end of the day.

The camera is among the best on the market. It takes some very good photos in low light, in good light situations are exceptional, and records video at 4K and 30 FPS. By price, about 400 dollars in September 2016, it is an incredibly complete phone that does not lag in any section, including the incorporation of a fingerprint reader for payments without contact and unlocking, among others.

Apple iPhone 6s

rumors of Apple

The protagonist this year of the iPhone 6s is one: 3D Touch. This pressure sensor system is responsible for revolutionizing the interaction with a touch screen, opening up new possibilities to save time. If for example you press an icon on the home screen, a drop-down of options appears, or if you press on a thumbnail of a photo, you will see it bigger, and pressing a little more open another associated application.

The phone maintains the same aesthetic as the iPhone 6, with a little more weight and thickness due to the new 3D Touch feature. The battery is reduced to 1,715 mAh, but the autonomy of the phone remains the same. Not exceptional, but not bad at all, and can compare with the LG G4, although it depends on what. If you watch videos, you can spend up to 10 hours watching them, but if you get to play, you probably will not reach the 3 hours of autonomy.

The display has slightly improved its quality, and the Touch ID sensor is now faster. The M9 coprocessor allows Siri to be activated by voice, the Wi-Fi connection is now twice as fast, and better LTE is included and support for more bands (almost all used). The terrain of connectivity is no problem on the iPhone 6s.

The camera has also improved, becoming to 12 megapixels, with improvements in color. Apple has added a system to improve the quality of each captured pixel, and the result is excellent. In addition, you can now record video at 4K, and the front camera becomes 5 megapixels. Nothing new, but still allows you to be among the best cameras of the moment.

The Apple A9 processor, which has two cores, achieves practically the same power as the eight cores of the Snapdragon 810. Since in most situations only one or two cores are used, the final performance of the iPhone 6s is way above Of the rest of the competition. Except in the graphical terrain, which although is excellent, is not the best, since in games yes it is preferable to have quad-core processors.

But in general, it is an exceptional phone, and the feature that shines the most and puts it in the head is 3D Touch.

Samsung Galaxy S6

samsung’s official website

Samsung took note of the complaints about its Galaxy S5 and with the Galaxy S6 put a very similar but incredibly different product on the table. As I say, the high end to justify its price must bring something essential: a great design, at the height of the flagship phones of Apple and HTC.

The Galaxy S6 managed to bring that great design that was expected long before Samsung. Its aluminum frame and glass back, with good ergonomics and a great look, make the Galaxy S6 could once again be considered a high-end phone, and possibly the best it was when it came out, in a tough fight with the iPhone 6. With the change of design the dust and waterproof was lost.

It includes a superb 5.1 ” screen with QHD resolution, with a great quality of colors, and its brightness and contrast perfectly fit the needs to look good in any situation. It includes physical buttons, and the start button includes a new, improved version of the fingerprint reader as it now only needs to leave your finger on it instead of having to move it from the bottom up. A great improvement.

The 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilizer and improved optics make it take really good photos with lots of light. It’s at a level similar to the iPhone 6, above the rest of the Android competition, and in certain situations is the best camera there is on a smartphone. Especially because the iPhone 6 is 8 megapixels, and if you need to enlarge an image you realize that there are missing pixels to be usable. That does not happen with those of the Galaxy S6.

The terminal works smoothly with its Samsung Exynos 7420 processor, in the graphic section is behind others but for a problem of moving a resolution of 2560 x 1400 pixels against the iPhone 6 and its 1344 x 750 pixels (huge difference), and the Software that comes with the phone finally begins to look like modern and unscheduled applications in two evenings. In addition the change of appearance of TouchWiz with Android 5.0 is very grateful.

You can expect normal autonomy for a phone (it will last a day with medium to high usage), and perhaps having included a Full HD screen instead would have allowed you to excel in this field. It is a missed opportunity, although it does not detract from the terminal. Finally, the battery is not removable and does not include a card reader, but it does have a minimum ultra-fast storage of 32 GB, with speeds that can duplicate those of any other phone.

Sony Xperia Z5 Compact

Sony is becoming the strongest advocate of high-end compact phones, and proof of this is the Xperia Compact series. This new phone features a 4.6-inch screen with HD resolution, which is more than enough to look perfectly sharp, but at the same time that resolution and size allows with 2,700 mAh have a long battery life.

It also has a powerful Snapdragon 810 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage with a microSD, and a great camera for taking great photos. It is a phone that, for those who use the phone for WhatsApp, take photos and phone, is the best option within the high range.

Huawei P9

From- CNET

Huawei has decided to put on the market a high range focused especially on its camera of photos. It does not leave aside the design in aluminum and a powerful processor Kirin 955 with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage of series. The processor has a main cluster of four Cortex-A72 cores running at 2.5 GHz, and the second cluster are four Cortex-A53 at 1.8 GHz.

The graphical section is often the most loose Kirin, which is why it is the one that improves in the Kirin 955, since its Mali-T880MP4 GPU goes from 700 MHz to 900 MHz. It includes a fingerprint reader in the part Posterior, which although not the ideal location, works very fast in the recognition of footprints.

But as I said, in this phone the important thing is the camera. It is Leica-certified to ensure color accuracy and reproduction, and on the back includes two 12-megapixel cameras. One of them is responsible for capturing the color of an image and the other is monochrome. This has some advantages in the field of color camera design and light capture.

The cameras can optimize the contrast depending on the light conditions, as well as make it easier to make a camera by eliminating color filters. The monochrome camera captures at least three times more light in the scenes than when compared to a single-camera phone, and therefore much more detail of the scene that can be used to improve the sharpness of the image. This arrangement of cameras also allows blur or bokeh effects, simulating by software a focal distance between f / 0.95 and f / 16.

Sony Xperia Z5

The flagship of Sony for 2015 maintains a language of design characteristic of the Xperia. It’s stylish, and with its 7.3 mm thick is a really slim and comfortable phone to use, and is still waterproof. The main point in favor of the phone is its camera, capable of taking great pictures whether with much or little lighting, or at night, even recording video to 4K.

Performance is often hampered by the Sony customisation layer, which otherwise performs well in applications and games thanks to the Snapdragon 810 processor and its 3 GB of RAM. In this case, the fingerprint reader is located on one of the sides, which is an atypical site to locate it. The Xperia Z5 has a good battery life, and perhaps the problem is that what you have to enter through the eyes, the screen, does not go from being good, when to be a flagship should be superior.

Microsoft Lumia 950

It arrives with Windows 10 Mobile pre-installed, and it includes really great hardware in a format not too large although its 145 mm of height do that it is beyond the limit of handling to a hand. But in return you get an exceptional 5.2-inch screen with an (unnecessary) resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

The biggest problem to give the feeling of high range is that it is designed in plastic, and is a design already very trite in the Lumia range. It looks attractive, but you can not say you stand out above phones like the iPhone 6, the Galaxy S6 or even the HTC A9. But it has a good feel and is a choice of materials that makes it a high range that drops quickly in price, and that is appreciated.

The processor is a Snapdragon 808, the processor used by companies to avoid the curse of the Snapdragon 810, but it is more than enough to give the terminal perfect fluency. In addition this processor enables the use of Continuum, which is the best feature of Windows 10 Mobile. This functionality allows you to connect an external monitor, keyboard and mouse to the phone and use it as a PC thanks to the universal applications of Windows 10.

Microsoft sells a multi-port hub, for example HDMI and USB, and goes straight to the phone’s Type-C USB connector. Even so, Continuum will be useful for a specific type of users, because carrying a small keyboard and mouse all the time and the hub can be inconvenient.

Otherwise the quality of the cameras is really good, the battery life is adequate but it would have been better to include a 1080p screen and the battery will last 30% longer, and the quality of the Wi-Fi and radio signal is Excellent. For a change, the Windows Phone utility is still limited by the sparsely populated app store.

Motorola Moto X Force

The Motorola Droid Turbo 2 is being sold outside the US. Like Moto X Force. It is a high-end phablet, with a high quality 5.4-inch QHD display and 149 mm high, and a 3,730 mAh battery to compensate for the high (and unnecessary) screen resolution.

The processor is a Snapdragon 810, with 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage (64 GB option) and microSD card reader up to 2 TB. In the photographic section includes an excellent camera of 21 megapixels with video recording at 4K, with a quality that make it sneak directly among the best of the moment. Its design continues the visual language of the company’s phones, and includes options with leather back cover.

But the electronics of the phone is not really important. For what it emphasises the Moto X Force is by its resistance to blows, and is the device for all those who want to avoid spending a bundle on a telephone and that by a silly fall finishes without being able to be used properly.

Apple iPhone SE

The iPhone SE is a review of the iPhone 5s, with much of the hardware updated. It keeps the same fingerprint reader, screen size, resolution and almost the same static outside (many consider it better than the iPhone 6), but it changes its processor to the Apple A9 that gives perfect fluidity to the phone, and great graphics power (Also thanks to having a resolution set at 326 dpi).

The rear camera is the same as the iPhone 6s, so it is among the best on the market. Does not include the 3D Touch pressure sensors of the iPhone 6s. It has a good autonomy despite the small capacity of the battery, thanks to the high integration of operating system and hardware.

LG G4

This LG phone brushes the phablet size, although thanks to maintaining a height of 148 mm with a screen of 5.5 inches, is a model that falls in no man’s land between phones and phablets. The screen is of great quality, with a great quality of color, brightness of 450 nits, contrast 1200: 1, but that the only glue in reality that I see, facing the consumption, is its resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, although Be visually very nice.

With a Snapdragon 808 processor and 3 GB of RAM you will not have any problems with fluency. Applications open quickly, multitasking works well, and the inclusion of 32GB of internal storage with microSD expansion makes it very complete in all respects. The only drawback, as I said, is that it is in a battery life of the worst in the market, with 6 hours of intense use of average. Enough for most users, but not for those who spend the day using WhatsApp (although they would recommend other phones).

In addition, the camera is in the top 5 of the best cameras in the market, so if you are looking for a cheap and great camera with high range, the LG G4 should be the first to have a look. Whether day or night, the camera will give it the best of it as well as in video recording. In the audio section also gives a good volume of speakers.

Meizu Pro 6

The Meizu Pro 6 is the first to include the MediaTek Helio X25 processor, which is a slightly raised version of the Helio X20. The two main cores are Cortex-A72 and operate at 2.5 GHz, the secondary are four Cortex-A53 cores at 2 GHz, and the tertiary group at 1.4 GHz.

The GPU is a Mali T880MP4 at 700 MHz, accompanied by 4 GB of LPDDR3-1866. Meizu will release a version with 32 GB of storage and another version with 64 GB, of type eMMC 5.1. The screen is 5.2 inches Super AMOLED with 1080p resolution. To further reduce the thickness and size of the phone, Meizu has reduced the battery from 3,050 mAh to 2,560 mAh.

In the photographic section, it uses a Sony IMX230 sensor in the main camera of 21 MP, with aperture f / 2.2, PDAF and autofocus. The front camera is 5 megapixels. Includes Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and USB Type-C connector. Comes with Android 6.0 and the FlyMe 5.6 personalization layer.

Lenovo Zuk Z2 Pro

The Zuk Z2 Pro from Lenovo includes a Snapdragon 820, plus 4 GB of RAM LPDDR4-1866, but also has a version that provides 6 GB of RAM. The basic model includes 64GB of storage, the advanced 128GB, but does not include microSD card reader.

A heart rate sensor is located on the back of the camera. The camera is 13 megapixels with aperture f / 1.8, pixel size 1.34 μm and is capable of recording at 4K, slow motion and a format similar to Apple Live Photo (mix video with the photograph itself). The front camera is 8 megapixels f / 2.0.

It includes Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, and compatibility with GPS, GLONASS, Beidou and Galileo positioning systems. The 5.2-inch FHD screen covers 100% of the NTSC color gamut thanks to its Super AMOLED panel. It has a USB type C connector, audio jack and speaker on the bottom.

Apple iPhone 6

Apple has given consumers what they asked for: an iPhone with a bigger screen. The design of the iPhone 6 is perfectly recognisable, without major changes, but this time the edges are completely rounded instead of including a bezel. The screen of the iPhone 6 is the best of the moment, but in fact is on par with the Galaxy Note 4 and the iPhone 6 Plus. As a small glue is that its little thickness (6.9 mm) and its rounded edges can make difficult a firm grip of the terminal making more necessary a sheath.

Its new Apple A8 64-bit processor is again the fastest of the moment, and combined with the adjusted resolution of the 4.7-inch Retina screen make the games fly. Unlike the iPhone 5s and earlier, in this yes you can play (although those who want to use it to play seriously and watch videos should rate more seriously the 6 Plus).

The camera is also the second best, behind the iPhone 6 Plus since the Apple phablet includes OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer), but there is not much difference. Even so, the digital stabilization is really impressive and does not need to stop for the camera to focus thanks to its autofocus phase detection. It will make them clear in almost any situation and without waiting.

The Lumia 1020 camera may give marginally better results when capturing photos than the iPhone 6 (video is no longer up to current cameras), but it needs a 41-megapixel optical to do what the iPhone 6 makes with 8 megapixels. This is achieved thanks to improved optical quality and the True Tone flash that will make us take pictures with a high quality of day or night colors, seeing all the elements of the photograph well defined. It is very important to keep in mind that megapixels are just a number that do not say much about the quality of a camera (just how many pixels capture), and that behind there are many other numbers (ISP, aperture, pixel size, focal length, Etc), which do indicate the quality of those pixels you capture.

Battery life exceeds 10 hours on Wi-Fi. In day-to-day, unless we have the screen with a lot of brightness there will be no problems in which it lasts for 7 or 8 hours of intense use (multimedia, calls, downloads, navigation, some games). Like all high-end phones, it comes with a MSRP of 699 dollars, but it will decrease in a few weeks to 600 as soon as the stock stabilises.
